The bell hop needs retraining.
The bell hop who insisted on taking my bag to the room. (It had wheels and I am quite capable) put his hand out for a tip. I offered him 10Y (more than 1 dollar), he asked if I had dollars. I held out a $1. bill and he looked at me like I was crazy. So I held out the 10Y piece again and he said, "IS THAT ALL YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE ME?"!!!... I was told people in China did not expect tips. I thought I was being generous... like I said, I did not want him to take my bag, I wanted to do it myself.
