RESERVE ME AT THE HILTON!!!
The stay was awesome very comfortable , staff helpful to my needs as i needed directions .. First time there but definitely not the last .. Daughters wedding on the beach and we were exhausted .. Would do a commercial for the Hilton ... Beds were absolutely what we needed after the wedding .. Slept cozy and comfy .. Only complaint is I WISHED WE COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER ... next time we will ... Thanks Hilton

Totally Impressed
We completely loved it! We loved the ammenities the hotel offered and enjoyed walking to the restaurants around there. The staff was so kind and very friendly, and extremely helpful. They made us feel welcome. We can hardly wait to return.

Not impressed.
Helpful and friendly staff. Hotel shows age but ok for a short stay. Hate the nickling and diming - extra charge for internet access.

Very comfortable and clean. Good value.
We have stayed at the Galveston Hilton several times and will continue to do so. My husband used to manage a hotel, so we are very particular about where we stay. I definitely recommend the Galveston Hilton.

Unexpectedly Great Stay!
The Hotel was clean and the staff was great. We are looking forward to visiting again. We will no longer stay where we have in the past. Great job Hilton!

Great value right by the beach especially for CRUISERS!
This hotel is right off Seawall. A great value compared to other hotels in the area. Clean room, comfy bed, really nice pool with a swim up bar. Also, they do not mention this online but the hotel will let you park for free the entire duration of your CRUISE! They offer a shuttle service that will let you park behind the San Luis hotel. That will save you another $50!

Since the hurricane Galveston has brought in some new sand... it’s actually really pretty now. Although the water is still brown :(

Expected more - no internet, no free breakfast
Overall, the hotel was nice. Great pool and hot tub with swim up bar, good location across from the beach, plenty of good bars and restaurants within one mile. For as much as I payed for this place, I thought I should have gotten some of the basics that come with most hotels. First, no free internet; it is available down in the lobby and they will charge a ridiculous amount of money per minute. No free breakfast, but they do have a breakfast buffet that is available but I thought was too pricy. No refrigerator or microwave in the room (I got a standard king room, on the third floor). Also, the air conditioning unit was very loud, which kept us awake at night.

Best hotel I’ve seen
This was the cleanest, most modern appointed hotel I’ve seen - price (non-refundable option) was competitive with low-end motels in the area. We are booking with Hilton again for our next stay. I only rated them a 4 on service due to weak extras like city maps at front desk. All rooms seem to have a decent view of the ocean with this hotel’s unique layout and balconies.

Will definitely go back.
We go to Galveston every summer to visit the Grandkids. Last year we stayed at the Moody Gardens Hotel, this year at The Hilton. Moody Gardens was nice, but The Hilton was much more comfortable and accomodating. We had a great view of the Gulf and beach. Loved the pool with a swim up bar. The rooms are spacious and the beds and linens very comfy! The staff was always eager to assist with any problems. The only problem we had was that we had no sugar or cream in our set-up for in-room coffeemaker. Pretty small problem, don’t you think? We had a great time and will difinelty stay there next year!

This is Hilton is a little tired, but very nice for Galveston. We assume it was redone after the 2008 Hurricane. Overall a good experience.

Perfect Escape
My family enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The maid service was extra efficient also. We slept late, then called for room cleaning when we went to the beach...it was always cleaned by the time we returned. Location was excellent! Near most everything important. Beautiful and warm pool, with swim-up bar and towel service. Thanks Hilton for a perfect escape!

Visit Rainforest Cafe right next door. It’s fantastic for little ones. Try the volcano dessert. It’s a little expensive, but enough for 4.

Unfortunate experience
A room with two beds was requested for two adults and two teenage daughters. The hotel had not honored this resevation and only provided air mattresses!!!!!

Hilton Galveston
The hotel was nice but the pool opened too late and closed too early. Also there are alot of kids in the pool so if this bothers you, you should stay at an all adult hotel.

awesome experience
We stayed three nights at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. My children absolutely loved the pool and lazy river at the hotel. The location is in walking distance of two great restaurants and the beach. We will definitely stay here again next time we go to Galveston.

Galveston Hotel
This hotel is in a GREAT location! We could see the ocean from our balcony which is always a plus. They were all very nice, but the customer service could improve. Just little things like a sign in our bathrooms saying to get towels (for the pool) from the front desk. We waited in line at the front desk for 10 minutes only to find out we get them outside from the guys in the green shirts. Couldn’t find any guys in green shirts. We did figure it out in the end. Just little things...
