Days Inn Nashville Less Than Satisfactory

The best part of our recent stay at Days Inn Nashville was the price. Our room did not get cleaned two of the three days we were there. The breakfast was average at best. The juice machine broke down our last day. A few of the staff were "cold", and others were very warm and friendly.

Great location

This hotel is only 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. Many varieties of restaurants within walking distance. Mini golf and go cart race track next door.

About 1 1/2 miles from this hotel is the Opryland hotel. This is a fabulous sight to see and visit. Also a great shopping mall nearby.

Mixed review.

The beds were very hard, but the staff was friendly. The room could have been cleaned better (there was a rotting grape between the table and the bed).

Nice, Friendly, comfortable

We stayed at this hotel for a weekend.We booked three rooms. One for my husband and I. One for our daughter and husband. And one for our brother-in-law. Our rooms were clean. and service was good. the girls at the front desk were friendly and very helpful when it came time to refer us to the best restaurants, tours, etc. they had breakfast waiting every morning consisting of a choice of bagels, cereal, donuts, toast.fruit, coffee, orange juice, food was fresh. coffee pots in the room too. towels and wash cloths were clean and fresh. bed sheets were crisp and clean. if I was a picky person the things I would complain about would be the carpet in the hallways needed shampooed. and the bathroom even with it being clean was small.

Okay stay

Our group was supposed to have 2 rooms together and we ended up on different floors. We couldn’t get into one of the rooms and had to have the keys redone. When we finally got in it hadn’t been cleaned and was a mess so we were changed to a different room. The new room was fine once we got it. Staff could use a little work on their customer service skills.

Check your circumstances

I entitled my review as is, due to the fact that they do not have shuttle service and if you are like me and don’t mind walking, the there is no problem. The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful, the room, clean and well kept, the continental breakfast, diverse and convenient, if I’d had a car, there appeared to be ample parking and besides my own personal oversight - I think it is a great place to stay.

Served its purpose for my trip.....

The Days Inn served me just fine with minimal accomodations. No exercise room, pool was outside which eliminated that for a january trip, and there were no on demand movies. Again simple, and sort of the base model so to speak if one was referencing cars. Breakfast was consistent and very simple. Variety was ok.

Clean, but basic

This is a basic clean hotel room which was quiet and comfortable. Pricing was average to other hotels. Our main purpose for selecting this hotel is that it was within walking distance of the Gaylord Convention Center.

The Gaylord Convention Center is a must-see attraction and is free:) The Christmas lighting was Awesome!!! Loved the indoor gardens.

Days In Opryland

I would recommend this hotel very close to the Opry Mills,Opryland hotel, and very nice eating places.

Very good for the price!

This motel was quite sufficient for a very reasonable price. It was close enough to the convention center to allow attendance via walking or short taxi. Staff were very accommodating and the motel is well kept.

A family can stay here and spend your vacation money on more attractions and fun times.

THERE WAS A TERRIBLE MUSTY MORE THAN ODOR IN THE ELEVATOR AND HALLWAYS. ROOM DOORS AND STAIR WAY DOORS "SLAMMED" AT 2:30 IN THE MORNING

This hotel was close the everything that we wanted to be close to. It was great and a very clean and comfirtable place to stay.

Decent hotel, great staff

A recent business trip landed me in this hotel, close enough to the Opryland Convention Center, but $$$$$ cheaper. The hotel was an older building, but clean and comfortable. The best part was the staff. From the desk staff to the cleaning staff, they were all very friendly and helpful. Conveniently located close to dining and evening entertainment. Would stay here again.

OK Stay, but not Fabulous!

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Building is pretty old and could use some updates. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. We were surprised at the condition being that it is in such a close proximity to the Gaylord hotel. Hotel desperatley needs some TLC, but for the most part it is clean and is in a good location.

For a great downtown bar, check out THE BIG BANG. It has hilarious dueling pianos and a great staff!!

Would not go back!

It was a great location, but that’s it. The staff was nice enough. Our first room had a major leak under the bathroom facet, the floor had a puddle of water on it when we first went in. I said something to the desk clerk and she said someone would be right over to fix it. We went to get a bite to eat and to the mall which took about 3hours. When we returned she said it was fixed,but it was not. I went and something again. She offered me towels-- no different room. I accepted the towels and blew it off. The next morning we got up to ANTS. A bunch of them. They were all over the table, our drinking glasses, food and the wall. I complained again. I was offered bug spray. I then insisted on a different room. They weren’t to happy with that but gave me one anyway--- 6 hours later!!!!

can’t wait to go back

Very happy with hotel and the staff was very helpfull with places to eat and things to see and do. Very good with giving directions to get to any where you would like to go. Hotel is in very good location. Less then five minites from very large Mall, Grand Old Opry, 1/2 hour from downtown Nashville. Many places to eat within three minutes of hotel. Really enjoyed ourselves.

For steaks and seafood I recommend and give this restaurant a 10 (Caney Fort Fish Camp). Downtown Nashville (Hard Rock Cafe) is very nice good food and lots of History to look at. Also would give them a 10.

Excellent location, convenient to mall and opry

We travel to Nashville several times a year to see the Grand’ol Opry. The location is excellent---very close to the Opry and large shopping complex. The hotel was clean and quiet, but nothing fancy. When making your reservation be sure to clerify that you want a non-smoking room, if that is your preference.

Good place for the price

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I would like but it is a great place to stay for a very reasonable price. Very close to Grand Ole Opry and Opry Mills Outlets. Convenient to everything we wanted to see. Especially nice since they have a welcome pet policy too.

Radio City Rockettes Christmas Show was outstanding. General Jackson cruise entertainment was very good. Food was OK.

Economical and comfortable

The price for the room was very economical and the facilities were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for budget travelers that want a safe and comfortable place to stay. It is very close to a McDonald’s if you don’t care for the breakfast that is provided.

In a great location!

The hotel is in a very convenient location for sightseeing. The hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant.
