Close to DART
Nice place with beautiful lawn and view of the bay. Pool, steam room and sauna were all comfortable and clean. Helpful staff and great location. There’s a supermarket across the street and the DART station is a five-minute walk down the road. They gave us three beds (two adults and two small children) and my daughters enjoyed having their own. A happy change from being crammed into most hotel/B&B rooms.

A decent hotel
This hotel is outside of Dublin, a couple of miles from Howth. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly, the rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. This hotel is very old, so the public areas don’t have the same polish that a newer hotel would have but that is part of the charm.

Great location
Our stay was a long one (10 days) and being in a family room helped quite a bit. (Large room) We had to change from the 1st room as the bed was extremely soft (very old) with a dip in the mattress and staff was quick to help. Great restaurant on site but the Bar Lounge had the same food for much less...strange. Breakfasts were fantastic. Near transport to city centre and good shopping across the street for groceries and coffee etc...
Load up on the free breakfasts and enjoy the lovely back garden and swimming pool. They give you a bathing cap & towel at the front desk.
