Fabulous place to stay
The hotel is in an excellent location - close to the terminal reef where you can take a cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. It is within walking distance to the Esplanade where great restaurants, stores and the night markets are located. The room was fabulous - a balcony, jet tub, a sitting area and great shutters for privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing experience = highly recommended
I was impressed from the second I was welcomed to the hotel to the check out experience. They sit you down to check you in and then asked about the "special request" I had written on my Expedia request. They exceeded my request and gave me an upgrade. The hotel has many great services and a resort feel. The best customer service I have seen in the hotel industry and I have travelled a lot. Thank you!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Even though Expedia may say that a rate is only available for "2" people, you can put a request in at the bottom for a third person and you may be pleasantly surprised at the hotel, I was as they upgraded me to a room with 2 double beds.
