No hesitation to stay there again. Great hotel.

This was our very first visit to Ireland, and had no idea of locations, sites, etc.for our 3 days in Dublin, before heading toward the Shannon area. What a pleasant experience after booking this hotel last minute at what seemed to be a very competitive price. Easy to reach from the airport bus drop off on McConnell St. and close to the "on and off Green Bus 3 day Tour of Dublin" stops made the location great. Got upgraded to a mini suite so can not comment on the standard room we booked, but the suite was very elegant. Did not partake of the restaurant on site. Plenty of markets, restaurants, and stores very nearby for just about anything you might need.. Room had a hot water kettle with a basket of teas, coffee etc and the room had a mini fridge to chill the juice, pop, etc. that we bought across the street. Not sure if all rooms have these amenities. Big windows overlooked the hotel entrance and street for excellent people watching, even as late as 3am!

UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT GO TO THE TOURISM/TRANS DESK AND BUY THE 3 DAY (72 HR) ON AND OFF GREEN BUS TICKET WHICH ALSO GIVES YOU THE BUS RIDE INTO THE CITY. IT WAS 25 EURO PP AND YOU COULD USE THE CITY BUS AS WELL. That will get you anywhere in the city you want to go with buses passing by every 10 minutes so never a long wait. They have a really good taped narative, but the drivers are very helpful with directions, suggestions, etc. If / when you rent a car to go out of the city--take off the hubcaps and put them in the trunk until you return the rental....you will more than likely lose them on the very narrow , pot hole roads and have to pay for replacements. Sure wish I had remembered this tip from prior left side driving experiences we have had!!!!

Great value

Hotel was in a great location within walking distance to just about anything. near shopping, pubs, tour bus pick up, visitor information center, food, temple bar area, etc. larger room than any that we had during our stay in europe. hotel staff very helpful with directions transportation, etc. only complaint was that it was difficult to find when we first arrived.

Good location, bad bed

Central location with reduced parking for guests. "Double bed" was two twins shoved together and covered with a full sheet. The seem where the two beds meet was hard (don’t roll over) and the mattresses were a bit old. You could feel the springs! Staff was nice.
