It’s Okay
I am a frequent traveler so I have experienced many hotels. At the Cristallo the bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the staff didn’t seem to be too interested in helping me out. Not sure if that is the culture or just the staff while I was there. The rest of the room and the breakfast was pretty good for a 3 star hotel. Otherwise the hotel is in a good location for me. Only two blocks from the train station and close enough to several sites to look at.

Not Impressed
Since this hotel was fairly cheap, I was not expecting much. It didn’t even meet that...Since I was staying alone, I was uncomfortable because there was no inside deadbolt on the door. Also, the room trash wasn’t emptied from the last guest. Breakfast was decent, however. The hotel is conveniently located within sight of the train station, but I’d bet there are better hotels a few blocks closer to Milano Centrale Station!

Good bargin hotel
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night while on our way to Venice. The hotel is located very close to the train station and we took the Malpenza Express bus from the airport to the train station for only 7 Euros per person. This hotel was a no-frills hotel, but it was very clean and had hot water and strong water pressure (however, the shower was REALLY small -I am only 5’4 [and my husband is 6’2] and it was tight for me). If you need an inexpensive hotel for a short stay, this is an excellent choice.
