Great location
We had a triple room with plenty of space, closet/dressing room and wonderful bathroom with a spa tub and hand held shower. The staff were very helpful - made dinner reservations, gave directions, arranged transportation. The hotel is a short walk to the Metro station for connections to anywhere in the city. Also, within walking distance of the Duomo and shopping plazas. Very good breafast included with great coffee. Very few negatives - beds on the hard side, only Italian TV channels, no evening dining close by. Overall, very pleased with this hotel!

A really good choice
Hotel is only about 7 minutes walk to Piazza Duomo. A metro stop is just 2 minutes walk, as is a tram stop. Rooms are clean and quiet, because they all look onto internal yards. The street is busy,though. Breakfast is good. Hotel reception area and the lift are very nicely kept in their stark white simplicity and gorgeous floor.

Convenient hotel near duomo
The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was more than enough. It was just a 10-15min walk to the duomo and very convenient. Overall it was very pleasant. Just one complaint -- and if you don’t mind turning in your key when you leave for the day ignore this -- we had one hotel employee over eagerly trying to get our key from us every day. While I understand this is a custom in europe, most hotels understand that americans don’t feel safe doing this and while they suggest, they don’t harp if we don’t want to do this. One of the managers harped. (The others were quite understanding, but keep this in mind if this is an issue for you.)
Traveler's tip on dining
After a long trip in Italy we were dying to have something else than pasta or pizza. If this is true for you, try the Indian restaurant right around the corner. It was great.
