What, no water?
The hotel was comfortable and clean for the most part. A couple of the lamps didn’t have light bulbs and there was NO WATER in the vending machine.

Cleaner Overwhelming
When I walked into the room, the smell of some Pine Sol like cleaner was overwhelming, and it consumed the entire room. The next day when I loaded my car, my clothes and bags all smelled like this cleaner. It is one thing to be clean, it is a whole other thing to have a noxious room.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
It is still a great location to avoid downtown Detroit but still have quick freeway access to everything downtown.

Decent Stay
For a business trip and a low-cost hotel room, this worked for me. It’s an older hotel but was quiet and I didn’t feel unsafe to be there.

There are only a few places across the road (one way streets) to eat. Most others you have to go 2-3 miles.
