was a nice place
we were there when the Strugis Rally was on. There were alot of bikes and everyone was nice.

Decent , but not outstanding
Our room was clean except for a couple of small spots (more like small piles) next to the bed. Not sure if it was mud or something else (not sure I want to know), but was hard. Didn’t walk around barefoot.

Trip to Mt Rushmore
This hotel is well located by Mt Rushmore, Devil’s Tower and the Badlands. There are many restaurants close by. The hotel appears to be old, and there is no air condition in the lobby or hallways. The rooms are small, old but not too bad in terms of cleanliness. In the summer season, they raise the rates but are still fully booked.

Good value for the $$
Convenient location to highway, restaurants, and downtown. The rooms are 5 steps down or 8 steps up (not good for those who can’t do stairs or haul luggage). Decent breakfast with indoor/outdoor seating. Desk clerks not familiar with local attractions. No access to internet/business center. Room quality/cleanliness exceeds expectation.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Corn Exchange is a 5-star restaurant on Main Street, downtown. Exquisite. (closed Mondays) Chef MJ Adams will make your visit worthwhile. Enjoy the 35 bronze statues of presidents in a short walk before you eat!

Good price
It was a good price for a decent nights sleep. The front desk was very welcoming and courteous. We stayed 4th of July weekend so there wasn’t a great selection of hotels left and especially not at the price we paid.

Had a great time
Hotel location was perfect to all attractions in the area,also had a free shuttle to downtown. There is lots to see and do,and the history. This should be on everyones vacation list.

Good nights stay
The room was right off the interstate. Easy enough to find. The entrance room was through a gas station a bit odd. Room was very pleasant as was the staff. Very quiet. Plenty of water pressure in the shower. Bed was comfortable. You need to be able to use stairs to get to the rooms. Not for the elderly or disabled.

Not bad
I wasn’t expecting much as I am used to Holiday Inn type accommodations but I was pleasantly pleased at the clean rooms and ammenities for the price. The bed was super comfy. The breakfast was just the usual continental but substantial. 24 hour coffee was a plus.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Do one of the breakfast dinner show tours to Mt. Rushmore. You see a lot more than just driving around and they are very entertaining.

Saved our bacon
Just because a hotel has vacancies when everything else is packed ... don’t assume that the hotel is bad. We had a wonderful time on our vacation mainly due to our hotel being available on short notice.
