For the price waffles would have been nice!
Thought the hotel had a pool. But it was guiet the attendants were friendly. For one night it’s not bad.

Eddie’s about 4 blocks away. We walked. Great Food. Try the stuffed mushrooms!

Not impressed
The hotel staff was friendly when we checked in, but after that they did not do anything to keep other guests from making noise most of the night. My wife was not impressed with the bed or the bugs that bit her while sleeping. We will not be going back to this hotel.

Not worth the $$$ they charge
The entire hallway to our room smelled like ash tray. The room somewhat clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable: The mattress was like 5-10 years old and was very uncomfortable to sleep on. We were tired and were staying one night only so we just tolerated the situation. I would not recommend this Motel to anyone.
Traveler's tip on dining
I would highly recommend "Golden Inn" Chinese restaurant in Superior, 3-5 miles from the hotel on HWY 2 toward Duluth. They serve great food - I have not had authentic Chinese food like this for a very long time. They offer a large selectoion of Chinese dishes and the portions are huge - perfect for a crappy motel stay with no in-room microwave :-)
