2nd time there
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. We had been there in Sept 2006 on our first trip to Disney and this time in Oct 2009. Love this hotel. Clean and always friendly helpful people working there. Old Towne adjacent is an added bonus. Took our parents with and they were also impressed with the hotel.

Average Hotel
This Comfort Suites was average to me and it could use a remodeling to bring it up to new Comfort Suite Standards. The Breakfast that comes with the stay was OK but I feel it could have been better. The Room had a musty smell to it when you first entered it but you quickly got used to the smell. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable as well. The hotel is located next to two amusement parks that are within easy walking distance. The hotel is located about 2 blocks off the main highway and is very quite for its location. My main gripes are as follows.... They must have the slowest elevators in Florida. Part of the check-in process directs you to a park discount ticket counter where they push discounted tickets by sending you to time share properties. Plan on this taking a long time to complete if there is a line. 3rd, the shower water savers that are installed limit the flow of water in the shower where it is impossible to get the soap out of your hair and I have short hair! I am sure this is a Florida law so this complaint is probably typical to other hotels. This problem can easily be corrected if you want with simple tools.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Applebees that is located about 3 miles south of the hotel offered a happyhour at about 10 pm which was good for discounted food and drink. This was nice after a long day at the parks where food is priced out of this world. We were there in September.

great for family stays
Overall this hotel reflects its description very well. Unfortunately, our room had an issue with its refrigerator--and even after being "fixed" by the repair guy--it died and we lost a ton of food. We didn’t feel that our situation was satisfactorily handled by the management.
