centrally located
the hotel was as advertised, no complaints on the level of service and cleanliness. it had a good location for getting around town as across the street from the train station and buses stopped right by hotel plus you could walk to alot of attractions. the only negatives would be the neighborhood had alot of fast food and asian restaurants and they also charge too much for internet access
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
we did find a few places close by to eat. i would recommend this one vietnamese restaurant called pho at saigon on quay street and tonys italian cuisine at 789 george st. we also used activity tours for 2 tours to the blue mtns and hunter valley wine tour. they were cheaper than the other tours and seemed more personalized

City Location
This was my first trip to Sydney. The location was a short walk passed many shops and restaurants to Darling Harbor. The room service i ordered for breakfast and dinner was prompt and tasty. My fiance complained twice about an unsightly smell emanating from the toilet and service was up to the room in 20 minutes each time. My room had an excellent view of an old worn out bill board. I recommend this hotel if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in it.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Gratuity is added into your bill when using a taxi and eating at restaurants. The small gold coins are worth $2au.

One of the best hotel buys in Sydney
Possibly the only hotel in Sydney offering a room with complimentary internet access (typical cost: more than $AUD20 a day). Near Chinatown, the location is not great, but very convenient. Friendly staff. One of the best hotel deals in the city.
