Quiet and peaceful...
Convenient location to the bluffs and walking trails straight out Dump Road. Great weather and fine accomodations in this sleepy little community.

Poor Service
We reserved a crib or so we thought for our 14-month-old daughter. Upon arrival no crib. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the staff, an assistant manager, in particular, made it clear that cribs were not guaranteed, and it was not their problem. He couldn’t even pretend to care. I found that the most shocking. We had to drive 30 minutes each way to my parents’ home to pick up a port-a-crib. We only stay there because they allow pets. Next year, we plan to leave our rabbits at home and stay at the Best Western!

A good place to stay
The hotel is close enough to everything in Carp to walk most anywhere in Town. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. It does back onto HWY 101, which can be noisy, so if you like to sleep with windows open ask for a room facing Carpinteria Avenue.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
A great beach walk is to go left when leaving the front of the hotel and follow Carp Ave to the Bluffs park, then you can follow the trails all along the waterfront, through the State Park and end up on Linden Avenue in Carp center. It’s a really nice loop.
