Great base in Maputo
Spent a very friendly and relaxing couple of days at the Pestana Rovuma. Great location for exploring central Maputo - bear in mind its a lengthy taxi ride if the beach is more your thing.
Traveler's tip on dining
Make sure you try the excellent prawn soup at the Scorpion restaurant in the Feira Popular!

Great Value and Great Service
I have stayed in a number of different hotels in Maputo. This is one of the best values I have found. It is a 3 1/2-4 star hotel. The staff was very pleasant when I checked in. I did not print an Expedia confirmation and the internet in the business center was not working, so I thought there might be a problem. However, they allowed me to check in to my room and return to print the confirmation later in the evening. Overall, it is a nice place to stay.

Excellent pick
If you are going to Maputo, this is one of the best hotels to stay in. The location was good,the staff was excellent, and the overall accommodations were great.
