Great location, small rooms but still recommended
The hotel is in a terrific location, we did however get put in a room that was in another wing of the hotel. Looking into some of the rooms they were better than ours (larger and newer). The biggest problem was that although booking a non-smoking room we were unsure if this is what we got. Some doors lacked non-smoking signs on the doors but there was no logic to this, we had no non-smoking sign on our door and smelt smoke in the middle of the night.

Great hotel in Bergen
The Thon Bergen Brygge is a great place to stay while in Bergen. It’s conveniently located near all the major attractions (Bryggen, the funicular, fish market, etc.). The rooms were clean and very comfortable, and the price was extremely reasonable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Bergen.

Great price, great location
The hotel is right next to the Brygge, the floibanen funicular, and about a 5-10 minute walk along the harbor to the fish market and the main square. I wouldn’t have paid the extra money to be a few blocks closer to the main square. Bergen is completely walkable.

Always carry an umbrella and/or a rain jacket. Rain can happen at any time for any reason.
