Not impressed

Overall, i was not impressed with the hotel amenities and reception service.

Decent hotel, strange bathroom...

Overall, this hotel was pretty decent. It was a fairly short tram ride into the heart of the city. The room was fairly small, but clean. However, the bathroom has clear windows facing the bedroom. There is no way to cover these windows meaning that any other person in the room will see someone use the bathroom or shower. I have no idea why a hotel would do this. The breakfast at this hotel was also fairly good.

Great place, great part of Oslo

Was very happy with our stay here. It is in walking distance to everything one will want to see in Oslo. Plus it is in the heart of the shopping district. The daily breakfast is fantastic. The maid service could have been better though-a bit sloppy. Overall though, recommended.

Will not return

Upon checking into this hotel it appeared quite nice, however after spending even only one night in the hotel I broke out with a rash and it continued to go down from there. We were moved to an ’allergine free floor’ only to find food in the bed sheets and to never have the room properly cleaned. One night Front Desk clerk was extremely unhelpful and told us to leave the city or stay in that room. We were then recommended to write the GM but did not ever receive a response. So after two visits to the local hospital and no response from the GM I would strongly not recommend this hotel. I have worked in a NYC hotel and we would NEVER treat a guest that way. Although there were a few nice Front Desk agents and the hotel had a decent breakfast.

The benchmark of Hospitality

This is a great hotel to really experience Oslo. We stayed only two nights and loved every minute of it. Tried to reserve a room for two additional nights a week later but the hotel was full, (understandably). The staff and location are the strong points of this Hotel. Most accomodating staff that went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure. Rooms are a little small, but didn’t stay in them very long anyway. To much to see in the area. Clean, comfortable rooms with a nice breakfast buffet.

Within walking distance of great shopping, Karl Johanns Gate, the Harbor, Trains, etc.
