Outstanding but only one problem
The hotel was quite comfortable for our two night stay. The only problem was the hot water system broke down and we couldn’t take hot showers one morning. They did offer addresses and phone numbers of other facilities that we could use that were close by. I asked if we could receive some kind of discount for our inconvenience and they took off the cost for our roll away bed for the two nights. And the staff were very polite and sweet, no negativity from them when I asked. I would stay there again and will recommend to friends.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Don’t miss the Kankamagus Highway (35 mile scenic drive)is a short distance from the hotel, we spent the whole day checking out the area and of course the Fall foliage colors were outstanding.

Very nice Holiday Inn
I was impressed with how nice my room was, considering the price and the fact it was a chain hotel. Very comfortable, clean rooms. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent, and I only saw 1-2 people there each time I used it. Only complaint was that I ordered breakfast room service that never came because the kitchen was backed up. After calling down twice to check on it and waiting over 40 minutes, I finally canceled the order, as I had a meeting shortly thereafter. Overall, would recommend though.
