very annoyed
I arrived early and was told no check in until 1pm, I work as an RN from 7pm-7am, and never has any other hotel in the area refused to let me check in early if a room is available, and even if a room is not ready, they always try to get one ready before regular check in time. Even when I go to the beach, if I arrive early and the room is ready they check you in right away.

It was OK
The toilet had dried urine on it. The room was listed as non-smoking but clearly had been a smoking room at one time. The location was convenient but access from the main road was a hassle. The sign is obscured by trees so if you missed it, you had to go about a mile to get there again. And there was no alternate entrance. Quiet location with some shopping nearby.

Newly Refurnished/Painted - Very Clean
I managed to get a good price on this room the Thursday before Memorial Day. I am happy to say that the room and hotel had just been re-painted and refurnished. Everything was new and looked very nice. The receptionist was also informative, giving myself and my girlfriend very good directions to where we needed to go. The free hot chocolate and cofee/mocha were also good :) Great stay and visit!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Great hotel right off the Baltimore/DC Parkway. Right as you exit you are there. It’s no more than 12-15 miles between the two cities so if you plan on visiting both Baltimore and D.C., it’s a great hotel due to its convience to both places.
