Free upgrading and late check-out
Staff very friendly and helpful. Got offered upgrading and late check-out for free. Not bad for a weekend escape considering its room conditions and rates.

Friendly and courteous staff, comfy hotel, good value... no great thrills though.
Only real draw back was the location meaning aside from the irregular shuttle bus you need to grab a taxi almost anywhere, that said they are plentiful and as location is pretty central - cheap. Swimming pool and gymn were better than I expected for the price. The hotel also found me a room very early, around 9:00 am, and even gave a free upgrade. Would for stay there again without hesitation. Glen
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Great little specialist whisky bar on the other side of the road - named the Quaich Bar. Beware the club next door called Tian An Men - notorious "KTV style gents club", but as Singapore - vicinity is no issue whatsoever.

Comfort room with friendly hotel staff
This is the 2nd Furama Hotel that I’ve stayed after Furama City Center. The room is nice, clean and comfortable. But there was a little incident happened on the 1st night I stayed there. Around 3.30am, one of the hotel staff kocked my door while I was sleeping. Because nobody answered, he entered the room and I suddenly woke up and surprised. The staff appologized for the inconveniences, but still I reported it to the front office later in the afternoon. Due to their mistake, they offered me free meal, which is...nice! However, my advice, make sure you lock your door when you sleep. Do not depend on the card key from hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The location of this Furama River Front is not close to MRT station. There’s a bus station though. But, you need to change into another bus if you want to go to Orchard road, one of main tourist attraction. Taxi is the most convenient and easy way to go to some tourist attraction. But if you’re happy with changing busses and find the route on the bus’s map, Furama River Front is good for you.
