Comfort Hotel Stockholm
Located in the Stockholm World Trade Center. The Central Station, busses and trains to the airport within 5 minute walk. All rooms are small twin bedrooms with one single bed (105 cm) and an extra single bed that folds down from the wall. Rooms listed as NOT having a window are inside/indoor rooms and instead of a window these rooms have a fake window which is a paper/plastic wall with lights beyond. The size and standard is the same as our other rooms. Children 12 and under stay free sharing room with parents/grandparents when no additional bedding required. Please note that all Choice hotels in Scandinavia are 100 percent non-smoking properties. Pet accommodation: 200 KR per stay

Excellent and close to train and bus
When you get off the train, bus, or the airport bus in Stockholm late in the day, this is the place to stay unless you are a supersized human. The rooms are very small but comfortable. The hotel is clean and secure with free Internet in the lobby. It is right next to the bus station.

OK if you like sleeper cars on trains
While the Hotel itself is fairly typical of similar hotels everywhere - the actual rooms themselves left something to be desired. It would be EXTREMELY useful if Expedia were to explain when booking that the rooms in this (and many other Swedish hotels) actually contain a folding bed similar to those found in sleeper cars in trains but without the rocking motion you would get there to help you sleep. After a long flight and with a partner - the last thing you want to be surprised by is bunk beds. Add to that, the size of the rooms would be a tight fit for a small gnome and it is fairly unsatisfying all round. Rooms were so small that we regularly passed found other guests sitting in the corridors eating Pizza or drinking coffee or chatting. Oh.....and DON’T be tempted to pay extra for a window.....the window ledge just takes up valuable room space that you don’t have! Pay extra and find a Hotel with a double bed!

Go to Stockholm and stay at Comfort Hotel!
Great location (Nautical Museum/Gota Canal dock/Opera House/shopping 500 meters 1 way, Fish Market 200 meters the other). Besides offering the traditional (BIG) Scandinavian breakfast, every afternoon, Comfort Hotel Stockholm also invites you to make your own waffles to enjoy with honey and berry jam and coffee. As with most Comfort Hotels, they have a basket of fruit available all day and offer free computer use in case you don’t have your own. Personnel are wonderfully helpful. What a gem of a hotel in all respects, including price!
