Would go back anytime
Great hotel for the money. South of the action area means that it is nice and quite. Nice pool deep enough to dive in.

Highly recommended if they change wi-fi provider
This is a terrific hotel in most ways--it was clean, staff was friendly, the rooms and pool were great, price was unbeatable. I would recommend it to anyone EXCEPT for one thing: they do NOT have wi-fi. The provider they use, SkyRim, is a joke--I was never able to access my email the entire time I was there. It was worse than the slowest dial-up on the oldest dinosaur computer youve ever seen, and the company kept promising it would fix it but never did. I had to go down the street to the lobby of another hotel to check my email messages, which was a pain. I love the hotel, but unless they change internet providers, will not stay there again--which breaks my heart, because I really loved the hotel. They also need to pressure-wash the deck chairs, but I can live with that--and the free continental breakfast was not impressive--but I could live with that. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the slow elevators were not a huge problem for me, but if free wi-fi is important to you, look elsewhere, AND TELL THEM WHY. They recently switched over from their own Acapulco network, which staff told me worked fine, for this joke of a SkyRim network, which apparently is powered by mice running on an exercise wheel--and old, arthritic, worn-out mice, at that. Hopefully they will change networks soon, because Id love to be able to go back. Oh---I love that they provide Bath and Body Works products for their little bath freebies.
Traveler's tip on dining
Chipotle, about a 15 minute drive from the hotel, has the most awesome burritoes Ive ever eaten in my life.
