Comfortable with a wonderful view
This is a lovely hotel overlooking the harbor above St Aubin, a quiet fishing village. Although our room was a little small, it was clean and cosy with a large luxurious bathroom. The wait staff at the hotel were friendly and courteous, always greeting with a smile and bringing our orders promptly. We had a full English breakfast daily and lunch one day - all were delicious. We preferred to sample the local restaurants in the evening for a change. Would certainly recommend this hotel to other travellers.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Ask for a room overlooking the harbor. Jersey is a beautiful island with tons of history from pre-history to WW11. It is ideal for walking, cycling etc even in the winter months. we were there in late February and spring had already arrived. Dont miss the Victorian market in St Helier and the fish market next door. great food everywhere we went. The buses are good, but if you miss a connection at the bus terminal ,pop into the Southampton to sample the local Mary Ann beer!
