Would Stay Again
We were very thrilled with the School House Hotel. The location was convenient to town as well as being close to transportation (D7 bus). The hotel staff was absolutely fantastic and more than willing to help us with anything. The only issue we had was an house alarm in the neighborhood next to the hotel went off for about thirty hours straight. However, the hotel staff did everything they could to fix the issue even though it wasnt there problem. We would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Charming
The front desk could not have been more helpful. Fiona we thank you. A quick ten minute walk to downtown and great restaurants and markets to the south. Just a delightful area and the hotel makes it all come together.

cant wait to go back, great stay in Dublin
We stayed 3 fabulous nights in a room named after the writer Butler Yeats! My 9 year old daughter and I loved the comfort and size of the room as well as being able to relax in the bath robes provided after a rewarding day out in Dublin or a day tour. Hotel very easily accessible to most Dublin sites. I recommend a trip on the coastal line of the DART which is near-by and the airport coach stops right outside the hotel. Wonderful stylish conversion of an old school house , and the food is fabulous in the restaurant if you want to eat in some nights. Staff were extremely accomodating. Any negative? For some , but not for us , the plumbing in the morning (due to design) can be a little musical. We loved every moment in this hotel! Cherry and Emma
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
DART to Howth is lovely and to the castle Malthide. Use buses and trains in Dublin or walk. Be very clear about pick up places for coach tours during the day. We missed a tour one day due to misinformation of pick up points. However, day not wasted as happens in Ireland - there is magic here. Music, sea, cliff walks and hop on off bus were great
