Could be better
This used to be such a beautiful hotel. But no longer judge the book by it’s cover. Had to ask for the first 3 days for my room to be cleaned, nowhere to unpack (some drawers would be useful, not once could they deliver the paper to my room, and NO room service. (how many 4 star hotels don’t have room service!)So while the grounds are beautiful and the old girl still has some ambience, just don’t expect any former glories. Oh and the GBP14.95 for a burger and chips in the bar, is an absolute disgrace!
