Would stay here again.
I had a good stay at this hotel. It was clean, in good condition and appeared to have been renovated recently. There is a new flat screen TV. It seemed odd that its address is on Yonge Street yet the main entrance is on the other side of the building away from Yonge Street with access only from the side streets. I had only 2 minor problems: the bolt lock on the room door was hard to lock and the top sheet on the bed seemed to be too short and was not tucked in properly when the bed was made up. Otherwise everything worked well. There is a subway station about 2 blocks away.

Would NEVER stay here again
I stayed at the Days Inn just around the corner before and got the same quality room for half the price. This is not up to the normal standards of a Courtyard hotel. The staff was not helpful with any question I had. They would direct me someplace else for an answer. A breakfast for two was $55. The fire alarm want off twice in the middle of the night for false alarms. Of the three times I have stayed in Toronto this is by far the worst hotel. If you do stay here check your credit card charges when you get home because I found a charge for $18.46 that they now have to credit back to me card. There are many more hotels in Toronto that Im sure are better then this one. I could name two.
Take the street cars when you can.
