Excellent location, excellent value for price
The hotel is in a perfect location to get a good feel for Sao Paulo; nice, safe, central location very near Avenida Paulista.

Dump
I checked in around mid-night. Went to the assigned room, only to find a man already asleep. Had to lug suitcases back downstairs to get new room. I was quite paranoid that they would send someone up to my room by mistake. I spent the night with chairs propped against both the main door and the bedroom door. The bed spread was thin and frayed.

Good value, good location, great staff
Two blocks off Avenida Paulista, Sao Paulo’s Champs-Elysees, 5th Avenue, "Magnificent Mile". Safe neighborhood. Moderately priced restaurants nearby. Short taxi ride to Modarn Art Museum and the Oca museum space and Iberapuera Park. A Central Park-like space. Great value in apart-hotel. High speed internet in rooms if you ask for it, 10 R$ per day. Helpful, accomodating staff goes extra mile for customer.
