So-so, probably better for the price?
The hotel was adequate. I didnt check into their activity schedule - maybe its a good place for vacationing families. The self-catering kitchen could be a big plus then, and there was evidence of a cinema for kids, and other activities. The pool was only open during the day, sort of 9-5. The towel policies were silly. Quite a large suite - queen size bed or so in the bedroom, large fold out sofa in the living room, small kitchen with table. Thermostat didnt work very well. Some sand and dirt in the room - seemed not very thoroughly cleaned. No wireless internet in room, and very expensive in the lobby. Locations good: a couple of blocks to the North Beach, close to shopping, etc. Staff was fairly helpful with a few inquiries. For a single traveler on business, with a bit of leisure thrown in, it was merely so-so. Felt like I paid too much for it. If you get a particularly good deal theres no reason to stay away.
