Good value for money

In a side street close to the main railway station. A little hard to find. A bit of a walk to central Frankfurt and old city, but doable and pleasant. Friendly and extremely helpful staff.

Traveler's tip on dining

A few reasonable restaurants close by. Lots to choose from in old town.

Good hotel - bad location

Although functional, the rooms are VERY small. While located conveniently next to the main rail station, this also adjacent to the red-light district. There was police activity all night, sirens blaring and people being arrested in front of the hotel. Honestly the hotel staff are doing a really good job but the location makes this a hard battle.

Small, but delightful

I was here overnight on a brief visit to Germany, and really enjoyed this hotel. Very convenient to the rail station, restaurants, and even a nice grocery store across the street. Staff were very friendly. The room was newly renovated, quite small, but very functional and comfortable. I would have felt cramped if I were to spend several days there, but for a short stay it was just perfect.

Good Hotel for our week’s stay

We stayed at the Concorde for a week in August of 2009, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Favorite perk....the breakfast. It was wonderful, and a nice start to the day. A fine selection of yogurt, eggs, fresh salads, rolls, sweets, juice, coffee, tea, etc. We did day trips from Frankfurt each day, and appreciated the breakfast and the Concorde’s close proximity to the train station. The Red Light District is near, but it wasn’t too much of a bother. The staff at the hotel were friendly, and greeted us by name when we came "home" in the evening from our day’s travel. The room was clean, and as other posts say, somewhat small. Didn’t bother us at all....we didn’t go to Germany to sit in our hotel room. Tastefully decorated. A nice grocery store across the street for what you need, and the train station has adequate food for when we didn’t want to go to far. The best thing about the Concorde in August....air conditioning! Many hotels didn’t have it....we were really glad ours. Would deffinately stay again.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Try to get to Sachsenhausen for a meal of local Frankfurt specialties...delicious. If having the Appple wine, make usre to cut it with lemondade....very sour if you don’t.

Very convenient!

The hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from Frankfurt’s Central Station, and very easy to find... the room was clean, and had everything in it I expected it to - it was small, but that’s to be expected in Europe. Staff was very friendly, as well. Overall, a great place for a short stay.

Excellent trendy hotel

Extremely helpful staff with very nice rooms that were clean and spacious (a definite luxury in Europe!). The breakfast buffet included with the price of the room was also excellent. I would definitely go back. If you are looking for a trendy hotel that has moderately priced rooms, this is the way to go. Excellent location, as well - easy to walk into the old part of Frankfurt.

Excellent option when visiting Frankfurt

This hotel is within a 5min walk of Frankfurt’s Main Train Station. Recently renewed, with a nice art-deco style, the lightning options with combination of colors is absolutely great!!! And a very good price/value ratio. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Couldn’t be happier!!!

I was 100% satisfied with my stay at the Concorde. The room was clean and very stylish. The staff was helpful in every way. The free breakfast was very good. For those of you who are hesitant because of the hotel’s proximity to the red light district: The red light district is farther away from the train station than the hotel, so there is no need to even see it unless you want to.

Good hotel, nice staff

The Concorde Hotel is Frankfurt was a nice, centric hotel. It is located very close to the main train station in Frankfurt, so if you’re coming from the airport, either the International airport or the Hanh airport, you can easily access the train station. There is a grocery store across the street, so it is very convenient if you want to buy bottled water, fruits, candy, etc. The rooms are clean and spacious. They provide you with very basic soap and shampoo. There is a small TV in the room with a couple of channels in English (CNN and BBC). There is also a water kettle in the room with some coffee mugs. The hotel staff is very nice. The hotel clerk recommended a nice restaurant serving food from the local area. It was the kind of place where the locals go and we really enjoyed it. Everyone that we interacted with in the hotel was very nice and courteous. The morning breakfast is pretty nice. They have yogurts, pastries, breads, coffee, tea, juices, cheeses and some deli meats. They start serving it at 7AM, so if you need to catch an early flight, you don’t have to miss breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to the main shopping and financial areas. It is also a street or two away from the red light district, so if you use the Metro stations, you will easily avoid this area. If you decide to walk, it is not terribly dangerous during daytime and early evening hours, but I would probably avoid certain streets after 10PM.

Good option for a short stay

The Concorde Hotel is really conveniently located from the Main Frankfurt train station - just across the road. However the rooms are really small and I felt a little oppressed, even though it was immaculately clean and functional. Also, the staff was helpful, but they seemed impatient with my attempt to speak German and insisted in speaking English to me, but a rushed and too casual English, which made me feel uncomfortable. Still, I would definitely stay there again. Beware of junkies in that area at night, though.

Just the right service for business travelers

Single room a bit small, but very functional. Great location, steps away from the train station, relatively quiet. Easy and free internet connection, and breakfast starting at 6.30am. Just the right service for business travelers

Great location, nice place if a bit compact

Really enjoyed the style at this hotel - interesting mood lighting and such. Staff was very friendly and helpful and location very near the train station was great. Just be aware of the sex area just down the street and don’t take any wrong turns at night. The elevator is small and so was our shower. But the wifi was dead-on dependable and worked like a champ. Beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Some noise from the hallway due to boorish neighbors but the outside sound sealing was excellent. Overall, very happy with this place.

Nice hotel...but not the greatest neighborhood

Nice little hotel located near the main train station in Frankfurt. Staff was great, spoke excellent English and they were very helpful with everything. Breakfast (included in our price) was excellent. There was also a small supermarket directly across the street and the main shopping areas and the older side of Frankfurt were a quick 10 minute walk away. The only downside to the hotel was the location. Right near the red-light district and the train station. Even in the daytime avoid Taunusstrasse (the street just around the corner from the hotel)...a little scary. Luckily this area is easy to avoid when leaving the hotel but I would not want to walk around the hotel area at night alone.
