staff is nice but hotel is a dump no place to go @ internet goes out often ,,lots of noise
its like being in jailnothing to do and hotel is in need of major repairs stay away from colon its a dump go to boca de toros if you want to have fun
go some where else i wouldnt take my family here

Get Away to Middle of Nowhere
Great place to get away from everything and relax. Enjoy the monkeys at the from gate before 8:00 A.M. or around Noon. Will see a toucan or two if you’re lucky.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Nearby attractions: Portabello (Spanish Forts). You can see one of the forts 50 yards from the road. From Guayira one can cross to Isla Grande for $2.00/person or less. O.K. snorkeling at the Black Christ. Island is best enjoyed by hiking to the top, ascending the light house and taking some photos. To avoid the problem of getting bitten on the ankles and calves by insects on this side of Panama, I advise you visit a store and buy one of the insecticidal soaps available. Nopikex is one brand.

Peaceful Stay
This hotel was very clean and the staff was very freindly. During the time I stayed it was very quiet not a lot of people were going in and out. The staff was bilingual and greeted you every time. Only negative thing I could say is that, breakfast was free for adults, but they charged for my 9yr old. Area is close to the Panama Canal.

Upgrade to the all-inclusive package and make sure you bring wash clothes.
