Puke on the Wall
First tip was location amidst dog-guarded auto shops and bars; next the bullet-proof glass at check-in. They didnt have my 4-night reservation and asked if Id be paying for 1 night or 2. I foolishly said two. My cc charge was to Mangat Houston Racetrack. In my room, I found puke on the bathroom wall, hair dryer cord and facial tissue holder. Wads of wet tissue were thrown on the ceiling. I put a bedspread on the floor to walk because it hadnt been vaccuumed (for how long!?). My husbands call couldnt be transfered from the desk; I used my cell. The closet had all of 4 hangers and a bar so low bar my coat dragged the floor--I left it on the bed instead. I checked out 1st AM & requested a refund for the 2nd night. The attendant "didnt know how" to refund a card but "figured it out" when I called my card co. to report the inns fraudulent charge.
