Not impressed
Our "cabin" room had a terrible smell and that made it very difficult to sleep. We spent the second night on the pull out sofa in the kitchen part of the "cabin". But, it did have a nice pool and a great view of the lake. The staff was nice and helpful.

We would stay here again
Descent place for the price we paid. We stayed in the lodge upstairs which has a nice view of the lake. Our room was pretty clean, bed a little hard, but overall not bad. My only complaint would be that the maids start housekeeping a little too early (8am) and they are very noisy. It’s bad enough that you have to check out by 11 am at most hotels, but the maids shouldn’t be allowed to come in and disturb you during the last couple hours you have left to rest. That is bad customer service at any hotel.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Stay during the off season, prices are very reasonable. Lake Tahoe is beautiful and nice to see anytime of the year not just during peak season.

Cheap, clean but needs new mattress
The Lodge was clean, inexpensive and easy to find. There were plenty of places to eat within a short distance. The only complaint I have was that the mattress was very uncomfortable - felt like it had a dip in the center. Other than that considering the price, I would recommend it!!
