Good location, excellent value for money
We stayed at the Maxim while visiting Verona for the Opera. A good location and not too far from city center. You need either a car public transportation to Verona. The hotel offers a shuttle to the city. Good breakfast buffet.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Visit a performance of Opera at the arena. A lot of good restaurants in and around Verona. My longtime favorite is Bacco d’Oro in Mezzana di Sotto some 15 km away.

A bit far
Although far from the centre of the city, still it was accessible by public transport. Taxis cost you 50 Euros! Internet facilities should be provided free of charge in the lobby for people who did not carry computers

Hotelmaxim is great
I always stay at this hotel when I visit Italy. Ilove the convience of having a grocery store right underneath the building. It saves on money.
