To many rules and regulations with a pool that closes at 8 pm. No Thanks.
When greeted at the front desk by Salvador we were ready to abort check in. Long story short, he was condescending and rude. Not that kids are bad...But I felt as if we were at the Disneyland Hotel. A $36 Euro per day charge for internet access. No thanks.

Nice hotel, but better service was expected
My wife and I had a 5 night stay at the Melia Sitges from June 1-5, 2009. Overall, our stay was terrific, but some of the hotel staff left a bit to be desired. The worst part was that our rental car was towed and impounded by the local police on our 4th day at the hotel, even though we had parked in a location the hotel staff told us would be fine. The hotel did nothing to compensate us for this happening either. The fine was 111 euros (about $170) plus it was more than a minor inconvenience. The service in the bar was sub-par, too. It was quite slow--we took a table in the bar our first night there, waited for more than a few minutes to be waited on, then finally got up and moved to seats at the bar--only to wait again for more than a few minutes to finally get service. There were some hotel staff that were terrific, but several just did not seem to care about customer service. We expected better at a hotel of this caliber.
