Awsome people at the front counter!!!
Look folks the people running this location have their stuff together. My only issue is that I requested a non-smoking room and they were completly out of them when I checked in but they did have a room that you couldn’t tell was a smoking room except there were ash trays in the room. There was no foul order of old smoke in the room I was in. 210. Then I went to make sure I had all my paper work to get on the base and relized I left my insurance papers at my house. (Georgi State Law does not require drivers to show proof of insurance.) They were extremly helpfull and let me use one of their printers to print out my paper work from the insurance companys’ web site. Once again, Thank you sooooo much guys for letting me do that. Had they been anything other than understanding, I would have made a 1,600 mile trip to look at the front gates of the NAVEL Center.

Will Definately go back and recommend!
For those who as going to visit the Great Lakes raea and especially the Great Lakes Naval Base, this is the place to stay. It’s only 5.2 miles to Great Lakes Naval Base, 4.5 miles to Gurnee Mills Mall, and 3.8 miles to Six Flags. Everything you could ever want is only minutes away(less than 10 min)...even a Starbucks across the street from the hotel, and a Baskin Robbins/Dunkin Donuts about 500 feet away! lots of restaurants nearby, friendly and courteous staff, room cleaned everyday...My family and I loved it. I would definately recommend this hotel, and if I go back to pickup my son from the Navy Base, i’m staying here again for sure! :)

This is a place to rest your head, not enjoy.
My husband and I have stayed here twice now. We book this hotel because it’s right down the road from Austin’s Saloon, and since it’s quite a drive back to where we live, we stay here to be safe after a night of drinking and watching bands. My only complaint is that the rooms are not at all worth what they charge. It’s a little box, with a hard bed, and a tiny little bathroom that could have used a remodeling 20 years ago. Honestly I feel a little like I’m in a halfway house. But as far as giving you a safe, private place to rest your eyes before heading back out, it gets the job done.
