met our needs
needed a reasonably priced yet comfy & safe hotel for a couple of nights and this hotel did the job. An incredibly helpful and courteous staff, free internet in the lobby, a simply but adequate breakfast included in the price. limited on the TV channel selections and a little fuzzy on some channels. the hotel has a pool which we did not use because of time. no kitchette but the microwave in the lobby was available for use after breakfast hours. Easy to find right off of hwy 99. No frills but adequate.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
a few things to do in the area, bring a good map of Yuba City, I actually got lost there. SF is a short drive as well as Reno and Napa Valley. Sacramento is the closest major airport. A car is a must.

Good bargain hotel!
This hotel was great for the price. We stayed there to attend an event in the area and we were greeted at reception with maps to our venue and a printout of other attractions and restaurants nearby - which was a nice surprise and very handy. The room was fine; quiet, lean and relatively comfortable considering the price. We were impressed with the complimentary breakfast because it wasn’t just cereal and juice; we could make our own waffles and there were a variety of things that were really nice to find in a budget motel. We definitely recommend Econo lodge in Yuba City.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
If you are going for a concert at the Sleeptrain Amphitheatre in Wheatland, go EARLY! The traffic control is almost non-existent and you will wait hours in line before getting a parking spot.

Room was OK, breakfast was excellent
Room was pretty much what you’d expect for a budget hotel. A bit musty and the bed was a bit lumpy. However, it was reasonably clean and well kept. The highlight of my stay though was the free breakfast. Eggs and Waffles made for the best continental breakfast I’ve had in a while
