Great Place to Stop and Stay

We were just stopping over for the night. We got in pretty late, but I was greeted with a warm smile. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. To my surprise the room was quite large and spacious. There was fruit, water and chips also waiting in the room. It was very clean also. I would stay here again and again. I couldn’t stop telling my family and friends about it.

Pleasant night

This was a good deal for the dollar, and location was convenient for the area. It’s right behind a Cracker Barrell Restaraunt, and staff was very friendly. The rooms are clean, the bath could have used a little touch up paint, but it was sanitized and clean. The breakfast was great. The hallway smelled a little smokey, but there are smoking rooms in this hotel, so it is expected. Internet was free, you need only to read the hotel booklet in the room in order to access WIFI. There are a few hotels on the same street, but this one had interior door entry and I felt safe to stay alone. Great stay!

Kinda Slack

Not terrible but not great either. The whole hotel had a musty smell (non-smoking room). The wireless system did not work and the staff were not interested in fixing it after I told them exactly what was wrong (I am a tech). They recommended sitting in the lobby and picking up on a neighboring hotel’s wireless system. Continental breakfast was good. The warm biscuits, bacon and sausage was a nice touch every morning. But the juice dispenser was broken all three days I was there.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

The Delkwood Bar and grill just east of the hotel on Delk road has excellent cold beer and surprisingly good food. I had the jerk chicken on a bed of rice with mixed veggies. The best jerk chicken I have had outside of someone’s home.

the cable did not work in the first room they put us in but they swapped us to a different room so that was okay but the hotel could really use some remodeling but the service was okay
