Newly Renovated

Let me first say that i found the overall experience at the hotel to be enjoyable. That being said, let’s move forward. While the hotel is advertised as Newly "Renovated", it is quite obvious is was only a partial renovation. The exterior seemed quite dated. The interior though seemed modern. The smell of ciggarettes hits you as you walk down the non-smoking hall. The room was a good size and had a recliner. The bathroom door jammed during every use. The tub was cracked. There was visible rust on the bathroom lighting and towel rack. The bed was comfortable and the extra pillows were soft. The hotel PROMISED THREE CHANNELS OF HBO, and yet NONE were available. Pets are allowed at this hotel, which may become bothersome. The staff wasn’t very personable. Family employees were openly arguing and cursing in the common room. Overall the experience was enjoyable. Most of these faults are ignorable. I would reccomend this to visitors. Happy Trails.

Only OK

Only stayed one night - room was clean and comfortable for the price -staff indifferent to complaints from several guests about supposed continental breakfast. OK place if you just want to sleep/rest as a stop-over.

Old is new!

This motel was recently renovated and is now very comfortable, clean and safe. The staff are helpful and polite and made my stay pleasurable. Thank you.

Good for the $$

Hey...its not a Hilton..but, it was clean and comfortable and close to suny binghamton. Breakfast area was a bit messy and small. My in room wireless internet worked.

For dining...head over towards Suny binghamton for lots of good restaurants

Home away from home

I always stay at this hotel when I am in Binghamton. I have a summer house in Whitney Point and when it is closed for the season Super 8 is my other home upstate. Great location and the staff is always very friendly.

Cheap but okay

The Super 8 was modest, but for the cost, was acceptable. I did note that there was a smell of cat urine in a walkway, but other than that it was fine.

while this motel had been recently refurbished with new furniture and extras and was a non-smoking room, the rugs were old and dirty, blanket was dirty, and the room and the odors were bad. not new smoke but a mixture of many old odors.

Broken furniture, stained carpet, smokey hallways (not in room). Says recently rennovated - would hate to see what it was like previously.

We were on the first floor near the lobby. Very busy and noisey in the morning around breakfast. Contiental breakfast very basic. Smoking allowed in lobby at night. Overall for the price, not bad.

If you are looking for a no thirlls place to stay its a good central local, and the room was comfortable

Good basic accommodation

I was able to check in early, the staff was friendly, and there was no question that they took security seriously. Also, it’s conveniently located near I-81.

Great value and great location

This is my second stay at Super 8 Binghamton and I was equally pleased this time. The lobby is cozy, 24 hour coffee bar is great and so is the breakfast. Location is the best in the Binghamton area, right on Front Street near all interstates.
