Wonderful Stay
Staying at the Omni in New Haven, CT is truly a 5 star experience. The accommodations are impeccable and the staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. One of the best hotel experiences of my life. I am now looking forward to planning future holidays around Omni locations.

Excellent stay
Friendly, helpful staff...excellent location...comfortable rooms. Be sure to ask for a room with a view of Yale University. Beautiful, comfortable, relaxing way to start the day. We ordered breakfast from room service...both the service, and the food, were excellent.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
If you have the time, get tickets for one of the Yale Drama School productions. A very short walk from the hotel, and a very enjoyable way to spend an evening.

A little corporate, but good value
Basically a comfortable, fairly well-maintained hotel. The feel is a little corporate -- suburban convention center. Generally in good condition, with a little wear and tear visible. Bed, cabinets and TV were all large and new. Overall design was corporate cookie-cutter. Small details weren’t well thought out. Needs better positioned towel racks in the bathroom, for instance. Also, the hotel should absolutely lose the heavy floral perfume in the lobby. The restaurant is good in a trying slightly too hard kind of way, but good food at a reasonable price.
