Very Fine
I was happy. I made the reservation from my cell phone about an hour west of Des Moines so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. I got what I wanted. Pool was very nice and the room was comfortable.

I went to the Macaroni Grill which I wouldn’t do again.

Will not be staying there again! Not impressed with this La Quinta
We recently went to Iowa to get married. The hotel was "ok". Most staff was nice, but the late afternoon/evening staff for the 4 days there was horrible. He was mean, rude, unaccomodating, and when he wasnt being mean to a customer he was watching tv, chatting with his friends, and on the phone with his own personal business. The first full day there we got married, on the way back stopped at the store and he saw us walk in. He then calls our phone in the room right when we walked in to inform us we were being to loud and the room under us has been complaining for two hours. I explained he just saw us walk in and was told I was lying and we needed to quiet down or he was going to have to make us leave. So we went down to show receipt and marriage proff and he wouldnt even look at it being very rude. The room was also dirty, cigarette burns in the non-smoking rooms comforters and their dryer didnt work. I always stay at La Quintas and have never had a problem. This one was definately not like the others.
