Good nites at Good Nite Inn @ Salinas, the service desk guy is very friendly and helpful.
Restroom bathtub had a permanent stain along the crevices, something like solidified soap scum, thought that was disgusting. Other than that everything was excellent, maybe a freezer and microwave would’ve been helpful, but the kindness and friendliness of the Puerto Rican guy was very kind and made it comfortable. Felt safe and secure with the well lit place.
Salinas I found out is a crime ridden town, but compared to Monterey and the surrounding area’s cost of living, Salinas is okay. Don’t know about living there, but I was trying to save money while I stayed there and worked in Moss Landing all day until 5 pm everyday. I recommend going to Santa Cruz and Monterey, which are like 20 miles away to hang out. Also to reserve a room ahead if you can, or you can wait around for like two hours for expedia to confirm your reservation at the hotel than get a room.

OK, for the price
The Continental breakfast was meager. There were no utensils to eat with. The hotel is OK for the price. I would not go there if on vacation or pure pleasure.

Comfortable, adequate, and great price for a weekend stay.
The hotel was located in a secure area. Although the room was small, it was clean and adequate for a weekend stay. The price was great and I would definitely stay there again.
