Excellent hotel; needs more knowledgable front desk
Love this Residence Inn and have stayed there more than once, visiting my son in college in Jackson. It’s an old-style Residence Inn, very much like an apartment or townhome, well stocked kitchen, roomy, two work areas for wireless, TV with PPV movies, nice vanity area and bath. Breakfast is excellent. Only quarrel is that front desk was less than forthright about taking credit card for "incidentals," claiming there would be no charge unless movies were purchased. Wrong. There was a charge that still hasn’t come off, more than a week and two calls later, despite no charges. Never would have given card if this had been conveyed.

Do NOT stay at this hotel!
I had to leave at 1:00 AM b/c of absolutely unacceptable behavior by other guests of the hotel who seemed to be regulars. The staff did nothing. Profanity, booze, and incessant banging on other people’s doors. I’m serious. It was pathetic.

Buildings need repair and painting but room was clean and comfortable.
