Horrible

This hotel, in addition to being dated, added the nuance of being unclean.

Worst hotel stay to date

The first two rooms that we were given had not been cleaned. The hotel employee made it up to us by giving us a bigger room, which helped, but it was very frustrating to have to go down twice to tell her that the rooms were not ready. Also, being an older hotel, it is missing an elevator, making it more difficult to carry heavy luggage upstairs. There was a funny smell to the room as well.

Great Staff

The staff was very very helpful. Went out the way to make sure we had a good stay. Very nice people.

Not a hotel I will return to when in the area. Accommodations fell short of expectations.

Embarassed to have picked this one.

I have stayed in Super 8 motels in the past, and usually are okay with them. This one was well below par. I unfortunatly booked our rooms late, and did not have many choices. We had three rooms, and a coworker had his air conditioner break down a couple times in the night. Stay clear if you can.

The room was dirty. There were holes in the walls. The outlet covers were falling off. It was trashy.

Will Never Return

The hotel room wasn’t maintained. The security lock on the door was broken. The front fell off the front of the air conditioner when we attempted to change the temperature. The carpet was worn through in spots. The room was gritty and dirty. The sheets wouldn’t stay on the bed and the mattresses were discusting. We stayed here based on the expedia hotel reviews. It was very late and we were traveling with small children, so we stuck it out for a few hours to grab some sleep. We got out of there before breakfast even started the next morning. Never Again!!!!!

THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT IN LOCATION AND COMFORT. RIGHT OFF HIGHWAY 75 SO VERY CLOSE TO THE PARK THAT HAD A SPLASH PARK, PLAYGROUND AND RAMPS FOR BICYCLES AND SKATEBOARDS. MY SON AND I ENJOYED THAT PARK TREMENDOUSLY. AND OUR STAY IN SHERMAN AS WELL.

I’d Go Back

The room was clean, the hotel was quiet. It has ideal freeway access to I-75. I felt the price was great for the quality of the room. Wal-mart is 5 minutes up the freeway with the cheapest gas I’ve seen in months...$.55 less than where I’m from! I’d go back on my next trip.

Traveler's tip

The hertz GPS could not find much in Sherman, TX or the surrounding areas. It has developed a lot over the few years and nothing was in the system. It sent me up the wrong way on one way roads and helped me find vacant lots instead of attractions. GPS and Sherman, TX don’t play well.

I have booked this hotel again

I was traveling with an infant and the lady was really helpful by giving me a room on the first floor, which was great.

not bad for the money

nicer than i expected; blow dryer didnt work! glad i brought my own. only waffles and toast / bagels for breakfast ; no fruit.

Good sleep over

Good value, a good stop over on the way to Dallas.
