Needs a bit of work
Overall, this would be an average motel, except for the facts that (1) the recliner was old enough that the left arm was separating from the rest of the chair and (2) for some reason, they saw fit to put a rubber mat on the step outside the back door - one large enough to cover almost the entire painted yellow caution edge! Next time in the Sioux City area, we’ll stay elsewhere.

one of the nicest Super 8s I’ve stayed in
I had trouble locating the hotel because of a miscommunication with the person at the airport who directed me. The woman on duty the evening of Dec 23rd was so gracious -- put me in another room when my heat didn’t work -- made me feel very at home.

Can’t remember the name of it, but the restaurant next door was excellent -- and great pecan pie!

would not stay again
booked for late arrival after midnight, arrived at aprox. 1:00a.m check in went great. if you are not on the first floor hallways are like a sauna, no elevator so if stairs are an issue for you do not stay here as no matter which floor you are on you will have to navigate stairs from the lobby. As for our room could have been cleaner, carpet is old and stained as are the sitting chairs, A/c worked long enough for us to go to sleep then quite we awoke at 7:30 am in a pool of sweat just awful, reported to front desk on issue they showed no concern or offered no solution to problem other than to ask if we had called the office about it last night. After all we had only been in the room 6 1/2 hours non the less we ate our piece of toast, had a glass of orange juice and were on or way. We will not be back, very basic hotel there are much better places to stay within this price range NO A/C AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BIG ISSUES FOR US.. even at a basic budget hotel such as this. This, less than super, Super 8 has some work to do.
