Great weekend getaway
This is a perfect destination for families or couples that wan a nice place ro stay with lots of amenities. There are many choices for activities at Stone Mountain Park and at the Evergreen. If you just want to relax at the hotel you can swim or get in the whirlpool or just st on the balcony-which is very peaceful. There is a spa and exercise area. We would definitely recommend the Evergreen!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Sodas, water and food in general is expensive inside the park and hotel. Plan accordingly.

Overall really nice BUT....
Only had a few minor problems. Went for family vacation and booked 2 rooms. Called the front desk the night we checked in and did not get an answer. Called back 3 more times no answer. The 2nd morning we called down for room service 1 hour before it ended. Staff lied about closing time and later amended statements when challenged (after a callback). Called us back 30 min later (after order was placed) asking if we still wanted breakfast. Other than those 2 problems everything was amazing. Ladies loved the spa and we guys loved the mountain. Absolutely incredible views.
Traveler's tip on dining
Recommend driving the 5 to 8 minutes to eat elsewhere. Room service was horrible and Starbucks in-house sold stale muffins and cakes.
