Would not recommend and would not stay here again

Beware of "complimentary shuttle service"!! The service meant you were dropped off at the park at 7:30 AM and stranded there until 10 PM, even if the park closed at 7 PM. We ended up having to rent a car for the entire week due to this ridiculous shuttle schedule. I usually stay at a hotel that runs shuttles every 30-60 minutes throughout the entire day. To have 1 drop off and 1 pick-up is absurd. Also, it was advertised that there are a couple of restaurants on site. There was only 1, and it had a very limited menu. The breakfast buffet was very lacking, especially when for a dollar or 2 more, there are numerous full service breakfast buffets within 1-2 miles of the hotel. We will not be staying here again, nor would I recommend this hotel to anyone I know who is planning an Orlando vacation.

Great Hotel at a Great Price and close to everything

I’ve been staying at this hotel since they were Howard Johnson, and each time i go back the experience is better. If you are looking for a budget hotel with the ammenities of a more expensive hotel this hotel fits your needs. If you just want to relax it has 3 pools and a kids pool. My room also had a full refrigerator, microwave and utensils. So i would surely recomend this hotel to anyone looking for fun without wasting a lot of money!

The hotel has scheduled transportation to the parks and is within walking distance of fast food, restaurants and souvenir shops.

Impressed

The hotel was even better than advertised in my opinion. The room was surprisingly very comfortable..the water in the pool was just perfect! The staff at the hotel wasn’t really helpful, the night we got there, we were super thirsty and they said they didn’t have any vending machines. Few days later browsing through the hotel we saw vending machines..The front desk person wasn’t helpful on multiple occurences but the hotel more than made up for it. I had to buy a basketball to use the hoops..somehow I feel they should have provided that!

Make sure if you’re going to disney. Use the shuttle bus, if you’re not driving because taxi’s are expensive!

I was satisfied withn this hotel and would definitly go back. For what I paid, it was exactly what I expected. It’s also in a great location which made it easy to get to Universal Studios and Disney World.

Not the best place

The room had a lot of things that needed to be fixed, the walls were very dirty, the bedspreads were dirty, the bathroom was unclean and had a lot of things to be fixed. It’s just not worth what you pay, i wasn’t expecting a 5 star quality since I knew it was not, but at least I thought it was going to be clean.

Don’t stay here unless you like bugs and holes in the walls. Pictures online were very misleading. Outside is also run down. I checked out within an hour of getting there. However, the gentleman working was very friendly and understanding

Affordable and Convenient to Parks

The rooms and hotel are not fancy but clean. The hotel is very convenient to all the Disney Parks and very affordable. We will stay again.

Hotel shuttle service is high and not included. they deal with on one company for shuttle and taxi service , because of the distance the hotel is from everything the cost is higher than most . busch gardens shuttle does not come the hotel and since you get free shuttle with flex tickets you pay a shuttle to take you 2 mile to the hotel w the service cost is 40 round trip for a free shuttle service i paid more in transportation than the hotel .. get a rent a car. the hotel is nice and service is good but would not stay there again. prefer to be a a location that provides my shuttle without giant fees..

get a rent a car, shuttle service is not good this hotel is the first to be picked up and ladt to be dropped of. you spen 1 or more hours on shuttle and this service make you change buses in route from sea world ,universal and disney. so you have 2 bus drivers to tip. and the shulle hour are not good with children only one time pick up.

Not To Bad

I have to say it was not the best looking hotel on the strip thats for sure but it was not a bad hotel by any means. You will deff need a rental car when stayin at this hotel but other then that it was a great place to just rest your head at night nothing fancy. I would stay here again.

Great hotel

Just got home, hotel was great. Room was very clean, spacious and the staff were all very attentive, friendly and helpful. The female bartender is kind of rude, but we loved everyone else.

The hotel has a shuttle to the parks which is nice, but it’s not too close to anything else, so I recommend renting a car. But the hotel has great amenities and offers a lot to do without even leaving. I will definitely stay here again.

Could do better

The complex could do with a refurb. Whilst for the price it was clean the bathroom facilites looked outdated and should be upgraded. having said that the bath had be relined. The room also smelt musty on arrival but was deodorised after I mentioned it. The hotel seemed to be popular with Europeans presumably travelling on a budget.

Not big enough

The room is to hold upto 6 people and believe me the sofa bed was uncomfortable and the room was extra small. I would not recommend to anyone.

The staff was ok but the room was decieving, just some were to lay your head and we really didn’t want to do that.Not what I would call a resort. Nats or flies were in the room.

The Hotel was too far away from everything, you would definetly need a car if you are staying there,I couldnt rent a car because of my age, so I was only using the shuttle services...but It was a good hotel for the price , it was kind of what I was expecting...

Great Hotel for the price

Little out dated, but the over all stay was good.. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, The pools where great and clean! the hotel is near everything you need. We rented a car because the parks are alittle ways away so that would be a must. You cant go wrong staying here.

Lizards and Dirty Towels

I suppose I should have had lower expectations, since I did pay a ridiculously low rate for this room for 2 nights. When I arrived, there were dirty spots on the towels, there was dust everywhere, and I had to contend with catching a lizard in my room so I could get some sleep (not an easy feat at 2 in the morning). The walls and door were so thin, I could hear every move of every neighbor, especially those enjoying the pool just 30 yards from my room. Nonetheless, the hotel was easy to find, conveniently located, and the room was cheap. You get what you pay for!

Hotel was adequate, but advertisment of hotel amentities are overblown from what actual amenities are. Premium TV channels consist of 2 showtime channels and few basic channels. Could not watch NCAA Basketball Tournament in the evening, as no ESPN channels available. Resort grounds are far from "resort"

If you are looking to get the most out of your orlando trip at the hotel and elsewhere, pick another hotel. If just looking for a place to sleep, then the hotel is fine for the price.

Very Old Facility

We didn’t like the hotel. It’s very old, the linnens was old and not very cleaning. Sorry, i’t was our worse hotel picked by expedia.
