Recommandable hotel
The location of the hotel is good, not in the old center of Nice but walking distance to all nice restaurants and center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pictures of the hotel on the internet and the reality of our room did not match (we stayed in a superior room), which was a dissapointment, the rooms need a renovation (our room at least) and could be arranged to be more comfortable given the price paid.

No Complaints
we used Expedias picks and were very satisfied with Hotel Ellington.It was very clean and our room was quite large by european standards.The staff were very pleasant and eager to be helpful .Hotel Ellington is perfectly located , 10 minutes walking to train station ,10 minutes or less to beach and even less to Old Town which is between hotel and beach.We rode the train everyday from Nice to Ventimiglia with all the stops inbetween mostly for seaside dinning. We had a wonderful time and Hotel Ellington helped fulfill this experience.

The hotel was so-so. Expected more. Room and bathroom were veeeery small. Location is good, staff is friendly.
