a great basic hotel
I stayed here during a work-related trip. I was in the hotel for a total of 3 nights. I found the rooms to be more than adequate for my needs, clean, comfortable sheets and pillows, and the staff friendly. The front desk called the room on the first day after check-in to make sure everything was satisfactory. All-in-all, I was well satisfied with my stay and would stay here again if I were in the Meridian area.

Fair experience at La Quinta
I was unimpressed with the LaQuinta. The carpet was very dirty as well as the room in general. The bed slept really well and the bedding seemed clean and fairly new. I just wish the room was in as good of shape as the bedding. The breakfast offerings were scarce and not very broad. Overall, I would choose to stay somewhere else.

The Mgr. was new and very good - maybe she will improve the place.
