Clean rooms
The room was very clean. I think the decor could have been a little more updated. Besides the closet and the bureau we had a very large armoire that had drawers and a rod to hang things but it smelled too bad so I would never use it but everything else was ok. The breakfast was nice too.
Traveler's tip on dining
Theres a few restaurants behind the hotel if you go out the back entrance. We also found a fast food place not far either.

No Security, Poor Customer Service
I reserved two rooms for the four members of my family. The rooms were mostly clean and well maintained. The kids swam in the pool, which was large and also well maintained. There was a jacuzzi next to it, but it was not in use and had yellow tape roping it off. At night, there was a large influx of young adults in the hotel. They seemed to have arrived by 2 or 3 buses, like a traveling sports team, from what I can tell. They did not cause much concern until after 10 p.m., when the pool closed and they were wandering around the hotel. They were shouting in our hallway and using foul language. I also heard two of them catcalling both of my girls (9 and 10 years old). Also, some of them seemed not to have rooms, as I saw some of them sitting on our floor. My wife called the front desk to ask them to clear out the kids from the halls, but the woman she spoke to said that she was the only person on staff and could not leave the front desk until security arrived at 11 p.m. Eventually, the kids dispersed, but there were some of them sleeping on the floor in our hallway in the morning. We will not be returning to La Quinta again.
