Water issues
Weve been staying at this location for several years because of its location. Through several ownership changes, ups and down, this last stay proved irritating because they were having problems with the water heater...we had no hot water first night, some the next morning, and non later. They did apologize and gave us a complimentary next stay this coming month.

Once the remodling is finished
We stayed here during a hiatus...about 2.5 weeks. The hotel was undergoing a lot of work and housekeeping was not up to snuff. I would not have paid the regular amount, but got a reduced rate. Management was very good and everyone apologized. The internet was out a few evenings and the front desk didnt really know what was happening. Overall, everyone tried their best during this transition time. Staff was very pleasant even if they couldnt solve things. PS The restaurant was understaffed the whole time we were there. One morning I left without eating and twice we had to wait a considerable amount of time to get service. The food was good and the waitresses were very polite.

Room 1: Not Cleaned; Room 2: no towels, and 50 yards from a RR, where Whistles blew All Night Long
The title says it all. Our first room had not been cleaned by 3:30 p.m. After waiting thirty minutes for housekeeping, we asked for another room. We got one. This one had no towels, as my wife found out after her shower. Room #2 was located 50 yds. from a RR track, and at least four night-time trains came through at intervals, vigorously blowing their whistles. We were promised a full refund through Expedia by the Front Desk. No evidence yet that this has happened....
